Methes Energies Canada Inc. Inaugurates Its New
Corporate Office and Production Facility

New York, January 25, 2008 – Methes Energies International Ltd. announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Methes Energies Canada Inc., has successfully moved to its new corporate office and production facility, located at 4170 Sladeview Crescent, Unit 5, in Mississauga, Ontario. On January 21, 2008, Methes Energies opened its door to several visitors, including shareholders and potential buyers.
The 3-day open-house enabled its visitors to not only meet with the Methes Team, but also have an opportunity to watch the Denami 600 in action - producing biodiesel. Visitors were astonished to learn that it only took 7 weeks to set up the production facility, from the time the company took delivery of the building on December 1st, 2007.
The new production facility, which can produce 5 million liters (1.3 million gallons) of ASTM quality biodiesel, will be used to test and validate different feedstock. The site will also showcase the Methes Energies’ biodiesel processor - the Denami 600.
“I am grateful to our team members and partners. In just a few weeks, we were able to set up and start producing biodiesel – that is incredible! The 40 visitors or so, coming from all over North America, who visited the office this week, were all impressed and the comments we received from them were outstanding”, said John Loewen, President of Methes Energies Canada Inc. “We have proven that in a very short period of time, anyone can be up and running and producing biodiesel. That is amazing, considering that most production facilities take over a year to accomplish the same thing.”
In 2008, Methes Energies anticipates setting up several similar production facilities in North America. At a cost of approximately $ 1.2M (excluding real estate) for a turn-key facility, Methes Energies is positioned to become a leader in the production of biodiesel, as well as a supplier of biodiesel processor in North America.
