Global Biodiesel Ltd completes purchase of Methes Energies Inc.

New York, September 5, 2007 – Global Biodiesel Ltd announces that it has acquired a 100 percent interest in Methes Energies Inc. in exchange for shares of Global Biodiesel Ltd. as of today’s date.
Methes Energies Inc is a leader in the fabrication of biodiesel processors. With its new Denami 600, a state-of-the-art, continuous flow processor which can produce 1.3 million gallons (5 million liters) per year of ASTM quality biodiesel, the company is now better positioned to take advantage of the increasing interest in the alternative energy sector worldwide.

Global Biodiesel Ltd, which also owns 100% interest in Clean Bioenergy Ltd, a US subsidiary looking to capitalize on the current trend in the alternative energy sector more specifically the biodiesel industry. This new acquisition will allow Global Biodiesel Ltd to enter the market quickly using the knowhow and technologies developed by Methes Energies Inc.
