Methes Energies Files Registration Statement for Initial Public Offering
of Common Stock
New York, October 15, 2009 – Methes Energies International Ltd. announced today that it filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on September 25th, 2009 relating to a proposed initial public offering of shares of its common stock. All of the shares of the common stock are been registered on behalf of selling stockholders who purchased their shares in private placements in 2007 and 2008. Methes Energies will not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of common stock by the selling stockholders.
A registration statement relating to those shares has been filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission but has not yet become effective. These securities may not be sold nor may offers to buy be accepted prior to the time the registration statement becomes effective.
