Methes Energies Signs Letter of Intent with Florida Fuel Solutions LLC
for the Sale of Six Denami 600 Biodiesel Production Line Systems

New York, December 11, 2008 – Methes Energies International Ltd. announced today that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Methes Energies Canada Inc., has signed a letter of intent with Florida Fuel Solutions LLC stating its commitment to initially purchase two (2) Denami 600 turn-key “Production Line” systems, and an additional four (4) systems within the next 24 months, for a total production capacity of 7.8 million gallons (30 million liters) per year. The price of the transaction is estimated to be over $7,000,000 USD.

The closing of the transaction is subject to certain conditions, including the execution of a definite agreement between parties and the completion of the financing process by Florida Fuel Solutions LLC for the first two (2) “Production Line” systems, which are expected to be met before the end of the year.

“Our decision to go with Methes Energies was an easy one after visiting their facility, completing our due diligence, and reviewing their equipment. We believe that they have the best equipment, as well as business model in the field. To be able to tap into the Methes network was also something very important. Soon, we will have completed our financing; we, therefore, expect to sign a formal agreement within the next few weeks. I look forward to working with Methes and having Florida Fuel Solutions help make Florida more energy independent”, said Ted Sparling, President of Florida Fuel Solutions LLC.

Mr. John Loewen, President of Methes Energies Canada Inc., added, “We are pleased by Ted’s decision to go with our equipment for their facility. It’s been great working with him over the last few months and we are looking forward to set up his facility, as well as growing together over the next several years”.
