Methes Energies International Ltd. Appoints New Board of Directors Member

 

New York, September 16, 2008 – Methes Energies International Ltd. announced today the appointment of Mr. Kebir Ratnani to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Ratnani is a recognized veteran, bringing more than 30 years of chemical, petrochemical and environmental experience to Methes Energies. Mr. Ratnani has worked with several well-known companies including Gulf Oil Canada, Canadian International Paper Company, Gaz Metropolitain, Hydro-Quebec International and is currently working with SNC-Lavalin as Senior Vice President of Africa and the Middle East.

At the international level, he concluded numerous cooperation agreements with several governments, namely Algeria, Cameroon, Gabon, Kenya, Tunisia, Senegal, Libya, Gambia, UAE, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam as well as Denmark, France, Spain, Slovakia, Germany, Hungary and Russia. He also negotiated project financing with organizations, such as the World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and CIDA.

Mr. Ratnani’s proficiency in his fields of expertise led him to develop 13 inventions for which he now owns patents; all related to natural gas, petrochemical and environmental technologies. Mr. Ratnani earned a B.Sc. A. and a B. Sc. A. in Chemical Engineering from Laval University in Quebec, Canada and a Diploma in Management & Marketing from the Institute of Gas Technology in Chicago, USA.
