Methes Energies Canada Inc. Appoints Steven Anthony as
New Vice-President, Sales & Marketing

New York, August 5, 2008 – Methes Energies International Ltd. announced today that Steven Anthony, 50, has joined the Methes Energies team as Vice-President of Sales & Marketing. Working for Methes Energies Canada Inc. in Mississauga, Steven will be responsible for the sales and marketing activities of the company.

Steven comes to Methes Energies with a solid sales and marketing background. His experience includes 15 years in the sales and marketing of Information Technology and Services. His thorough knowledge of network infrastructure and software will also be a huge asset to the company, considering that the Denami 600 is managed by a central, state-of-the-art, computer software designed to monitor and maximize the production of biodiesel in multiple locations.

In his role, Steven will assume responsibility for the development of the Methes brand. He will additionally develop and oversee the company's marketing and advertisement strategies, as well as direct and coordinate the company's sales functions, including the development of the sales cycle and methodology.

Commenting on the appointment, Nicholas Ng, Director of Business Development said, "We are pleased to have Steven be part of our team. His sales and marketing experience, combined with his IT knowledge will be a big plus for Methes. Steven is jumping in at a very busy time and I'm happy that he is looking forward to it – the feeling is mutual as I too look forward to work with him".

Prior to joining Methes Energies, Steven worked under the title of Senior Network Analyst providing Technical Project Sales and Management Support to a wide variety of industries, including Legal, Financial Services, Trade Unions and the small business sector. Steven also served 10 years as a Military Engineer with the Canadian Armed Forces.
