Denami 600 launch
May 28 2007. Methes Energies Inc. located in Mississauga, Ontario Canada is pleased to announce that they have completed the R&D of a continuous biodiesel processor. Named the DENAMI 600, it will have the capacity to process up to 600 liters per hour of either vegetable or animal feed stocks to meet ASTM 6751 biodiesel fuel standards.
Designed to process 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 350 days per year, the process involves supplying the module with methanol, a catalyst to convert the oil or a fat feedstock into a methyl ester (Biodiesel) in a transesterification reaction.
Producing more than 5 million liters per year on each module, they require very little floor space compared to other models on the market. These units are designed so that multiple units can be installed side by side, and supply finished Biodiesel into storage tanks using a simple valve matrix.
