Afrin Shams
Chief Accounting Officer

Afrin is a Chartered Accountant and works at Methes Energies as the Chief Accounting Officer. Her primary responsibilities include preparing financial statements for internal management, managing accounts, dealing with year-end audits, preparing and filing biodiesel fuel incentives and other regulatory forms, as well as overseeing the accounting department.

Prior to joining Methes, Afrin worked in public accounting firms where she managed small to medium-sized audits, reviews and compilations in various industries, including manufacturing, auto and parts dealerships, telecommunication, commercial equipment leasing, private health care services and media services. She obtained her CA chartered in 2008.
